Two Months Down, Eternity to Go.

I couldn't be more excited to continue my life as a married woman with my wonderful new husband Dan. :) We have been married now for two month. Our first two month as newlyweds couldn't have been anymore exhausting.

We got married Saturday the 15th of November in the Timpanogos Temple. The day was beautiful and I'm so very thankful for all my family and friends who were able to celebrate, with Dan and I, the start our new journey together.

I thought that after the wedding was over my life would settle into a nice consistent flow of things but, oh snap, was i wrong, so very wrong.

We went on our honeymoon the following weekend. It was a cruise to Capo, Mexico. Did i mention it was AWESOME. I suggest everyone take a cruise sometime in their life. Yes lizzy, you were right, the bigger boat is better. On our cruise i gained about 10 lbs. All you do on those dang things is eat. In Capo, we did a snorkel and sail excursion. I've never been snorkeling before but Dan has. Dan's a big show off. We got to snorkel for an hour then went sailing for about an hour with all the free drinks that you can get down. The sail boat got progressively louder and louder as the sailing part of the excursion took place. We also got to hold a baby Tiger.( Again, awesome)

After the cruise we stayed in San Diego for a night. We stayed in the Sofia Hotel. It was wonderful. Very easy and nice to us. We deported the cruise early and decided to just drop off our suitcases to the sofia and just walk around downtown until our room was ready. We got there at about 9:30 in the morning. Instead of just holding our bags they gave us a room instantly.  We were so exhausted by the end of our honeymoon, all we did was walk around downtown San Diego for awhile and go and see Twilight. Hey, we were tired! Yes, i have read the books, except the last one, and yes, i did enjoy them but, the movie was atrocious. We went to a very nice/expensive/not to good of food/ restaurant for our last night as Honeymooners.

After the Honeymoon was over it was Thanksgiving!! Woot Woot!  After Thanksgiving it was the final two weeks of school for me. I ended school the 18th of December and then moved the following day. We had a very nice dinner with a small group of friends our last night in Utah. We went to a place on University Ave in Provo called the Four Seasons Hot Pots. It's amazing. If you have not been, you are missing out on some of the greatest food you will ever taste. The owner is really nice too. I really like to go because of him. He always seems to remember Dan but never me.  Hmm... odd especially when i've gone with him almost every time. That is definitely a place Dan and i will be going any time we are up in Utah, as well as Cafe Rio! mm..mmm..mm.. i love my Taco Jack's Italian Barbeque. Back to my story.... it's long, i know. Sorry. So we moved Friday the 19th of Dec and got down to El Paso on Saturday. We stayed with Dan's Uncle and Aunt, Robert and Sally, until the 26th where we headed off to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to spend a week with my Dad and his family at their time share.

Thank you Dad and Veniece for getting the family together like that. The best part of the whole trip was sleeping on a blow up bed in the front room with my little sister, Samantha, on the couch and Matthew, my little brother, on his sleeping bag. I love you Veniece, i'm teasing. Dan and I had a great time. I'll sleep on the blow up anytime... but, really it's someone else's turn. We went to South Beach, Key Largo (we snorkeled there) and one of the days the boys got to go golfing, while the girls got a treat at the spa. Ft. Lauderdale was, in sweet bro terms, sweet bro. It was warm and beautiful. Lets go more often Daddy. :) While there Dad and Veniece decided to invest in another time share up in Orlando. Disney World, here comes the Griffin family, summer 2010!!

During the Christmas holidays my Grandma Cannon got reconstructive knee surgery. My mom was in California for almost 4 weeks taking care of her. My mom asked if Dan and i would go down to California for about a week and help out with my grandma while she was recovering from her major surgery. We got home from Florida the 2nd of January and went to California on the 6th and returned to texas on the 13th. My grandma is such a trooper. She's amazing. She's recovering so well. I'm impressed with her. I hope your still using your walker grandma. Shame Shame if you're not. :)I love you Grandma I'm just teasing.  Only one more week with it. While there we took a day and went to Disneyland. The last time i was there was when i was about 10 years old. Dan and i had a great time. I love Disney!!!

We have now finally settle downed in our own place. :) I haven't found a job yet but am looking and Dan has just started school. He's on his third day now.  Even tho our first two months as newlyweds was rush rush rush, i wouldn't trade it for the world. It been a fantastic experience. Oh yes, Dan and I have been called in to the nursery. Ladies, you know how much i love kids.:)

Love ya

Michelle and Dan
