Helping Haiti

It's incredible tragic what has happened in Haiti. This pregnancy makes me more emotional then I have ever been and every time I read something about that country or what people are doing to help, I get choked up and some times tear up.

I love what cell phone companies are doing with the Red Cross and how easy it is to donate money. You can text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross relief for Haiti.

I then found this shirt where 100% of the proceeds go to help in the effort. I wanted to help in some way. We really don't have much, so I purchased this shirt for 15.00 with a 3 dollar shipping fee. I can't wait to get it. I won't be able to wear if for a while, I got a small so I could fit into it after the kiddo is born.

The Church (they ask that we write The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when we are referencing them for the 1st time) kinda rocks...... Read what they have done. It's amazing. They have sent thousands of pounds of supplies down to aid in the help. They also have sent Teams!! of Doctors down to assist in Haiti. The few church buildings that are there got only small damages to them and are now housing thousands of people. I love this church and everything that it stands for.

I hope that this all gets worked out quickly with the relief and I pray that everyone else remains safe.

What's Making Me Happy Today.....

1. My monster girl growing inside me!

{I love her but she's a monster! I've had every symptom you can think of. I hate being pregnant, but i'm so excited to have her here with us soon}

2. These outfits!!!

{my child is going be dressed better then me}

3. Knowing I get to go home at 5 today instead of 6!!!

A Request....

I've gotten a few request from friends and family to see my little belly.

Here I am.... at 26 weeks. The picture was taken this morning, right when i got to work. So, it's what i look like as of 8:15 am.

We are finally Home!!!!

We have been away from home in El Paso now for one solid month!!!

Crazy!! But , Oh so much fun.

Lets start back in December shall we?

(More details to come with each event, but for now a brief explanation should suffice to let you know what has been happening)

Friday, Dec. 18th: Drove the 4 hours up to Albuquerque for Dan's sister, Lavinia (Lovey for short), wedding. I shot the wedding for her. I told her i would rather do that then be a bridesmaids when Andrew and her started talking marriage and asked Dan and I for some advice. Sealing at 7pm.

Saturday, Dec 19th: Drove 4 hours back to El Paso for reception.

Sunday, Dec 20th: Drove 13 hours to Thousand Oaks, California for Christmas with the family.

Wed, Dec 23rd: Disneyland!!!

Mon, Dec 28th: Drove 13hours home to El Paso. (granted i was home for two day but i do not count this as being home)

Thursday Dec. 31th: Flew to Houston to spend New Years Eve with Dad and Veniece. I got to see Mr. Scott Wiest and I finally meet his beautiful wife Abigail. He lives in Austin. (More on that in later post)

Friday, Jan 1st 2010!!!! at 11:59pm: Flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Saturday, Jan 2nd: boarded Celebrity Cruise ship Millennium.

Saturday, Jan 2nd to Monday Jan 11th: Sailed the beautiful seas of the Caribbean!!!

Monday Jan 11th: Flew to Houston

Tuesday Jan 12th: Flew home to El Paso.

And now to Thurday Jan 14th: Back at work :)

It was fun and i can't believe it's over and It's back to reality now!!!
